The most "friendly" and convenient for climbing is Avachinskaya Sopka volcano. The ascent to Avachinsky volcano takes daylight hours: about 10-11 hours there and back. The height of the ascent is 2741 meters above sea level. But most of the way goes along gentle paths, the difficult section begins at the very cone of the volcano.

I would like to note that our specially prepared all-terrain jeeps and minibuses drive to the place of excursions almost all year round. The travel time from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to the Home volcanoes takes from an hour to two. The slopes of these Kamchatka volcanoes are not lifeless at all, squirrels, foxes, wolverines are not afraid to settle on them, bears often come here.

The domestic volcanoes Avachinskaya Sopka and Mutnovsky volcano are those rare volcanoes that can be climbed without special equipment and experience. In addition, they are also popular tourist attractions, as their peaks offer stunning views of the surrounding area.
