Avachinskaya Sopka is an active volcano in Kamchatka, in the southern part of the Eastern Ridge, located 40 km north of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The volcano has a regular shape and belongs to the Somma-Vesuvius type of volcanoes.
