Kronotsky State Reserve is located in the eastern part of the Kamchatka Peninsula and covers an area of ​​1,147,619.37 hectares, including 135,000 hectares of the adjoining three-mile water area of ​​the Pacific Ocean. The reserve includes the territory of the Kronotsky Peninsula. There are 8 active volcanoes here, the highest of which is Kronotskaya Sopka, thermal lakes, the famous Valley of Geysers, waterfalls.
