Fish and seafood from Kamchatka are supplied to China

Since the beginning of 2025, Rosselkhoznadzor employees have monitored the export of about 2.7 thousand tons of fish products and feed meal from Kamchatka.

In particular, over the course of a month and a half, 139 batches of fish, caviar and seafood with a total weight of more than 2.1 thousand tons, as well as 26 batches of feed fish meal with a total weight of almost 507 tons were processed. Since the beginning of the year, Kamchatka enterprises have sent fish products and meal to only four countries: China (a total of about 1.7 thousand tons), the Republic of Korea (922.5 tons), the Netherlands (53.9 tons) and Japan (47.5 tons). Let us recall that last year, fish products were exported from Kamchatka to 15 countries. The overwhelming majority went to China. Japan was second, and the Republic of Korea was in third place. Kamchatka enterprises also supplied fish to Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, France, Norway, Italy and other countries.
