Cruise liner “NORWEGIAN JEWEL” first visited the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

Today, on May 14, the second cruise liner NORWEGIAN JEWEL entered the water area of Avacha Bay. This is the first call of a liner to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

The shipowner is one of the leading cruise operators, controlling 8% of the world’s cruise market. The length of the ship is 294 meters, width 32, draft of 8., 5 meters, displacement of 93500 tons.

The vessel cruises from Japan to Alaska. On board the ship there are 2300 foreign tourists, from 51 countries, as well as 1019 crew members. Tourists and the vessel is served by the marine agency and tour operator Kamchatka Pacific Network Company.

Within the framework of a one-day call of a liner to our port, the tourist program includes bus tours around the city with visits to museums, the temple complex, sightseeing of the city’s monuments, excursions to the observation platform on Petrovskaya Hill, concerts of famous Kamchatka performers and dance ensembles, exhibitions, visiting the city market, suburban dachas, ethnic camps and Koryak villages with tasting local cuisine, kennel sled dogs, city walks, souvenirs.
