On May 24, a photo exhibition “The City of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – an Angle of Inspiration” opens at the Kamchatka Art Museum at 5 pm. The exposition will include the work of members of the national photo club “Kamchatka”, as well as young photographers from the studios “Rakurs” and “Rhythm”, which capture the views of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky from various locations and at different times of the year.
“Without exaggeration, we can say that Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is located in one of the most beautiful places in the world with a unique landscape that connects the majestic volcanoes and expanses of Avacha Bay. At the same time, the city is located on the territory with a complex relief, where the difference in altitude is more than 500 meters from sea level to the top of Mount Rakova. Kamchatka photographers will draw the attention of visitors to the exhibition on the features of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – as a city of stairs, a city with terraced development of slope hills, a port city surrounded by beautiful nature. It is not for nothing that the name of the exposition includes the words “the angle of inspiration”. In spite of all the existing difficulties and problems, for people of creative and caring, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky continues to be a source of inspiration, “the regional art museum said.
Entrance to the opening of the exhibition is free.
