The best tourism workers will be selected in Kamchatka

In Kamchatka, applications for the regional stage of the All-Russian contest “Best in Profession in the Tourism Industry of 2020” have started, in which both industry workers and self-employed citizens can take part.

This was reported in the regional agency for tourism and external relations.

They said that this year the competition will be held online in one of the electronic venues for webinars and conferences. The live contest committee will evaluate the participants’ fulfillment of practical tasks, as well as give an expert assessment of their professional competencies.

This is an increase in the quality of tourism services in the region, professional competencies of industry workers, the prestige of tourism professions, as well as attracting young people to the sphere, ”said Acting Head of the Kamchatka Tourism and External Relations Agency Elena Lassal.

The competition is held in three categories. The best will be identified among the guides (guides), guide-translators, managers of inbound and domestic tourism. Reception of applications and documents from participants will last until August 2, 2020. Holding competitive competitions and summing up results – from August 7 to 8, 2020.
