The Kamchatka Territory joins the 12th on the score of the All-Russian action “Night of Museums”, which will be held in the country from 18 to 20 May. Residents and guests of the peninsula are invited to exhibitions, concerts, quests and creative pursuits. The theme of this year is “Masterpieces from the Reserves.”
Kamchatka Regional Art Museum on May 18 from 18 to 22 hours offers visitors a “Museum Marathon”. The concert will open with the participation of musical groups of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In the continuation of the program, the presentation of the Vulcanarium museum will take place, the staff of which will share their knowledge and interesting scientific experiences. And on the second floor will work literary and art salon, where visitors are waiting for the picture “Portrait of the poet”, a multimedia presentation about the museum of Anna Akhmatova, reading poems and music. Another site of the event will be devoted to cats: quizzes, master classes, animated films, an exhibition of works from the museum collection will reveal the image of a popular pet in art. One of the most interesting events of the evening will be the quest “Mysteries of the Museum Night”, in which participants will be able to explore the halls and exhibitions of the art museum. In the cinema hall will be shown films about the great Russian artists of the 19th century and the art of the Russian avant-garde. There will also be a tour of the exhibition “Portrait Gallery of the Tablet of Kamchatka”, which represents the history and culture of the Kamchatka Territory.
