Four bears are walking around the village of Molodezhny in Kamchatka

Residents of the village of Molodezhny within the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city limits saw four bears today, September 5, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The department called on city residents to be careful. If you encounter a predator, do not run away from it. Retreat slowly, do not make sudden movements, so as not to provoke aggression.

Let us recall that this year bears have repeatedly appeared in Petropavlovsk and other settlements of the region. The most recent incident occurred on September 2 in Vilyuchinsk, where four predators were walking along the SNT "Vilyuy". An encounter with a predator in its lands this year led to a tragedy. On July 25, in the forest near the village of Termalny in the Yelizovsky district, a female bear mauled a man. On the evening of August 14, the predator attacked a summer resident in the SNT "Avacha-1" in the Yelizovsky district. The man received serious injuries, but he managed to fight off the beast.
