A celebration was held in honor of the 170th anniversary of the heroic defense of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

The festive program dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the heroic defense of Petropavlovsk from the attack of the Anglo-French squadron in 1854 was held on September 5 in the regional center.

The celebration was attended by descendants of the heroes of the defense of 1854, the first persons of the region and the city, Honorary Citizens of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, representatives of the Command of the troops and forces in the North-East of the Russian Federation, the public, the clergy, cadets and young army members, as well as all concerned residents and guests of the city.
