A bear is wandering around Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

A bear is roaming around Maksutova Street, 18 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kamchatka Territory reports.

According to eyewitnesses, the bear is heading towards a kindergarten. City residents are asked to be careful and monitor the whereabouts of children.

If a bear is spotted, call 112. The bear was last seen in the regional capital on September 10. The predator was walking near houses 5/1, 5/2, 5/3 on Chubarova Street. The Ministry of Emergency Situations urged city residents to be careful. If you encounter a predator, do not run away from it. Retreat slowly, do not make any sudden movements, so as not to provoke aggression.
