Kamchatka restaurant enters top five in Russian Far East

The results of the WHERETOEAT Far East 2024 restaurant award have been announced — the top 10 best restaurants in the region, as well as the winners of eight special nominations. One Kamchatka restaurant made it into the top ten.

The Yelizovsky restaurant "Nashe Mesto" took fourth place in the rating of the best Far Eastern catering establishments, overtaking the famous "Supra" and "Millionka" from Vladivostok. In first place this year is Gusto Gastrobar (Vladivostok), in second place is "Amur" (Khabarovsk), in third is Zuma (Vladivostok), in fifth is "Supra" (Vladivostok).
Further on the list of the best: "Millionka" (Vladivostok), Main Wine (Khabarovsk), "Dom" (Khabarovsk), Uliss Asia (Vladivostok), Cantina (Vladivostok). Another Kamchatka restaurant - "Dva Morya, Okean" from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, won in the special nomination "Restaurant with the best beer list according to the Baltika company". The title of "Chef of the Year" was awarded to Egor Anisimov, who heads the kitchen at Zuma restaurant, for the third year in a row.

The partner of this special nomination was Technoflot, an expert in designing and equipping professional kitchens. The best sommelier of the Far East was Mikhail Shevchishin, Main Wine, Khabarovsk. This is Mikhail's first victory at WHERETOEAT. The special nomination "Sommelier of the Year" is presented by Changyu, the oldest and largest winery in China. In the special nomination "Bar of the Year", supported by LADOGA, the winner was Khabarovsk's Teach Me How To Drink, repeating last year's triumph.

The representatives of the mass media, who voted in the special nomination "Choice of the Media", recognized the restaurant "Supra" from Vladivostok as the best. Elena Volkova, pastry chef of the Amur restaurant in Khabarovsk, won the special nomination "Pastry Chef of the Year". Previously, this special nomination was presented only as part of the All-Russian WHERETOEAT Russia award, but since this autumn it has been awarded in all regions where the award is held. The waiter of the year according to the SberTips service was Viktor Sadovnikov from the Vladivostok restaurant Millionka. The general long list of WHERETOEAT Far East 2024 included 188 restaurants from 15 cities and other settlements of the Far East.
