Forecasters warn Kamchatka residents about approaching cyclone from the Sea of ​​Okhotsk

The southwestern districts of Kamchatka Krai — Ust-Bolsheretsky and Sobolevsky — will be the first to feel the impact of the cyclone, reports the Kamchatka News Agency. During the day, the wind will change to south-east, the air temperature will rise above zero, and in the evening, wet snow with rain will fall. At night and on Monday, wet snow is forecast, which will turn into rain during the day. On Tuesday morning, the temperature will drop below zero, and there will be light snow during the day. In the southeast of the region — in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yelizovsky District and Vilyuchinsk — the cyclone will begin to affect closer to the evening. The sky will be covered with clouds, the wind will increase and change to east. Wet snow will fall in the evening. On Monday night, during the day and evening on Monday, and also on Tuesday night, a strong south-east wind, wet snow changing to rain, and an air temperature of about plus 3 degrees are expected. According to the forecast, precipitation should end on Tuesday morning. During the day on November 19, it will be cloudy with clearings, no precipitation, but windy - a strong north-westerly wind will change to a westerly one. In the evening, it will cool down to minus 2-3 degrees.

The cyclone will bring snow to Milkovsky and Ust-Kamchatsky districts and Bystrinsky district on Monday night. In the village of Ust-Kamchatsk, it will warm up to plus 2 degrees, wet snow with rain and a strong southern wind are expected. In Bystrinsky district and Milkovsky district, as well as in the east of Ust-Kamchatsky district (Mayskoye, Kozyrevsk, Klyuchi villages), it will warm up to zero to plus 2 degrees, and there will be light wet snow. In the village of Ust-Kamchatsk, a strong, sometimes stormy, southern wind and light rain, sometimes with wet snow, are expected on Monday and on Tuesday night.

On Monday night, the cyclone will also begin to affect Tigilsky and Karaginsky districts. In Tigilsky District on Monday and on Tuesday night there will be light wet snow and a strong south-east wind, and in Karaginsky District there will be wet snow with rain and a strong south-east wind.
