The project of the resort "Sopka Goryachaya" in the "Park "Three Volcanoes" in Kamchatka has passed the state examination

The Main State Expertise of Russia has issued a positive conclusion on the first stage of construction of the tourist cluster "Park "Three Volcanoes" - resort "Sopka Goryachaya".

A new modern tourist cluster "Park "Three Volcanoes" is being created in Kamchatka near the volcanoes Vilyuchinsky, Gorely and Mutnovsky. The concept of the cluster involves the use of unique climatic conditions and natural attractions of the peninsula for year-round active recreation and health improvement of tourists.

"A tourist cluster of such a scale is being created in Kamchatka for the first time, therefore complex geoclimatic factors required non-standard innovative solutions, including seismic resistance of buildings and protection from volcanic ash. The project was examined with scientific and technical support from the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences," said Andrey Kryl, an expert of the Main State Expertise of Russia.

The construction of the central part of the cluster - the tourist village "Sopka Goryachaya" is planned on an area of ​​about 181.5 hectares. The total area of ​​the buildings to be constructed is over 191 thousand square meters. Low-rise hotels of 3, 4 and 5 star categories with a room stock of over 1000 beds, as well as a congress center, a health and rehabilitation complex with a geothermal lagoon, an Ethnographic Museum, a Volcano Museum and other facilities for sports, health and educational tourism will be built here.

It is also reported that the life of the resort will be provided by engineering and technical structures, including a heating station using geothermal energy, water supply and wastewater treatment systems, as well as coastal protection of the Poperechnaya and Paratunka rivers and other auxiliary facilities and communications.

The key investor in the project is the Interros company. Preferential financing is provided by VEB.RF through the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East.
