Residents of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky are invited to the opening of the main Christmas tree

On Saturday, December 14th, the opening of the main Christmas tree and the New Year's town will take place in the center of the regional capital. The festivities will begin at 4 PM in the square adjacent to the City of Military Glory monument.

According to the city hall, the opening of the largest Christmas tree marks the end of the marathon of presentations of the main symbols of the New Year in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. A total of 19 beautiful green trees have been installed in the city's neighborhoods.

On December 14th, organizers have prepared a theatrical performance for young residents and their parents. The New Year's team will engage participants in active games and fun contests with sweet prizes.

The highlight of the celebration will be the lighting of the main New Year symbol by Ded Moroz and Snegurochka. The city's best creative groups will perform in the "New Year's Mood" concert.

Entry to the New Year's town will be through metal detector frames. In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the program may be subject to changes.
