Inspectors of the Kamchatka Volcanoes natural park network and employees of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology conducted a preventive raid in the Vilyuchinsky natural park.

As reported by the environmental agency, its goal is to ensure a special security regime on the Vilyuchinsky Waterfall route.

During the raid, tourists were checked for permits to visit the specially protected natural area (SPNA). In addition, travelers were instructed on safety precautions, with an emphasis on the potential collapse of ice formations in the area of the waterfall and the need to maintain a safe distance.

The inspectors also checked the Avacha Pass in the area of Lavova Pad, located on the border with the Nalychevo natural park. No violations of environmental legislation were found.

The administration of the park network noted that travel through Lavova Pad is not prohibited. However, prior approval is required for travel.
