The All-Russian competition "Morning of the Motherland" for boys and girls in the age category up to 14 years (U-14) has started in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, which is also a stage of the RFGS Cup.

As reported by the Russian Alpine Skiing Federation, on March 18, giant slalom competitions were held on the slopes of the Gorny Vozdukh Ski Resort. The winner among boys was Kamchatka athlete Konstantin Babenko. He showed the third result in the first run, but on the second track he became the best by a noticeable margin. Based on the results of two races, Konstantin was ahead of the second prize winner by 0.55 seconds, and the third - by more than one and a half. The young athletes have three more days of competition ahead of them, if the weather does not interfere.
