Families in the Kamchatka region have the opportunity to participate in the nationwide contest "It’s a Family Thing", as announced by the regional Ministry of Education.

Now in its second season, the competition focuses on Russia’s cultural heritage, encouraging different generations to discover shared interests and revive cherished family traditions. Family teams can register on the official website этосемейное.рф. To qualify, each team must include at least four members representing three or more generations, with at least one participant aged 5 to 17 by the end of the registration period.

The contest consists of several stages:

• Registration (open until July 27)

• Online round

• Regional semifinals

• Grand finale

Throughout the competition, families will engage in exciting challenges, complete collaborative tasks, and compete for valuable prizes. This year, the rewards have doubled—60 winning teams will receive housing improvement grants totaling 5 million rubles. Additionally, finalists will enjoy all-expenses-paid family trips across Russia.
