Emergency services in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky came to the aid of two individuals: a schoolboy and a pensioner.
According to the regional EMERCOM department, a 10-year-old boy fell into a deep snowdrift while playing with friends and was unable to free himself. A rescue team quickly arrived at the scene and extracted the child, who did not require medical attention.
In a separate incident, rescuers assisted an elderly man returning home from a medical facility. Finding it nearly impossible to walk on crutches through the snow, he was given a ride home on a snowmobile, and the crew helped him into his house.
