Get ready for an epic winter celebration! Join us in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on February 8th for the kick-off festival of the famous "Beringia. Avacha-2026" sled dog race.

Before the mushers and their teams embark on their grueling 300+ km journey across Kamchatka's mountains and passes (from Feb 8-15), we're throwing a party at the Vitaly Fatyanov Biathlon Complex (11:00-17:00).

It's a full day of free family fun:

• Meet the Mushers: Chat with the athletes, learn about their sleds and dogs, and get autographs.

• Kids' Zone: Games and themed activities for the little ones.

• Family Adventure: Embark on the "In the Musher's Tracks" quest.

• Local Flavors & Crafts: Shop from Kamchatka artisans and savor local food, including free reindeer meat samples.

• Winter Tech: Check out an exhibition of specialized winter vehicles.
