According to the Primorsky Interregional Office of Rosselkhoznadzor, 476 consignments of fish and seafood with a total weight exceeding 13,000 tons have been shipped abroad from the region since January. In addition, local enterprises exported 47 batches of fish meal weighing more than 1,000 tons.
Over the past week alone, specialists cleared for export nine consignments of fish products (267.8 tons) and 17 consignments of fish meal (414.9 tons). Kamchatka’s producers supply their goods to six countries, with China accounting for the bulk of exports — about 13,300 tons. The main export species include pollock, cod, flounder, greenling, and halibut.
