According to the regional branch of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, this is a continuing series of aftershocks following the powerful earthquake on July 30 of last year. Between March 30 and April 5, 15 tremors with magnitudes ranging from 3.5 to 4.8 were recorded. In populated areas, one of them was felt with an intensity of up to two points, and no tsunami threat was issued. In the last 24 hours alone, six imperceptible aftershocks were registered. Notably, the magnitude 8.8 earthquake in the Pacific Ocean on July 30, 2025, was the strongest in the region since 1952, with tremors reaching up to eight points at the time.
