According to official data from Kamchatstat, on the eve of the active tourist season, the hospitality sector on the peninsula is experiencing a steady rise in prices. The upward trend, which began as early as March, has now affected nearly all segments of accommodation, from budget hostels to premium resorts.
According to statistics, even the most affordable options have seen significant price increases:
Hostels: The average cost per night (basic conditions) is now 2,432 rubles.
1-Star Hotels: The sharpest jump has been recorded here. In just one week, room rates increased by 20%, reaching an average of 4,803 rubles per night.
3-Star Hotels: The average receipt for an economy-class room in this category is slightly higher — 5,117 rubles.
Accommodation Costs at Popular Hotels in Kamchatka Krai
At hotels and resorts offering more comfortable conditions (by Kamchatka standards), the price range is significantly higher than the average:
| Accommodation Facility | Minimum Cost (rubles/night) | Maximum Cost (rubles/night) |
|---|---|---|
| Avacha Hotel | 6,300 | 25,600 |
| Petropavlovsk Hotel | 7,000 | 32,500 |
| Sypuchka Base (rooms) | 11,700 | 28,400 |
| Sypuchka Base (cabins) | 30,000 | 34,200 |
These amounts are by no means the upper limit of the region’s tourism market. At upscale resorts located in the popular Paratunka recreational zone (known for its hot springs), nightly rates can reach as high as 70,000 rubles.
Despite such high prices, demand remains consistently strong: representatives of the tourism industry report that premium resorts are far from empty, and rooms are booked well in advance of arrival dates.
