The risk of landslides and rockfalls from Mutnovsky Volcano in Kamchatka still persists, and authorities advise against visiting the giant, according to RAI "KAMCHATKA-INFORM," citing the regional branch of Russia's Emergencies Ministry. "The danger of landslides and rockfalls from Mutnovsky Volcano remains. Rescue workers strongly urge people not to approach the peak," the agency warned. On July 2, a gas-and-ash emission was recorded from Mutnovsky Sopka, reaching an altitude of up to 5,000 meters. Elevated seismic activity is also being observed, with earthquakes measuring up to magnitude 3.0.
