Monitoring Mutnovsky Volcano and the weather conditions in its vicinity is now possible from a fresh perspective. The camera has been placed at the Asacha seismic station.

A field team from the geophysical service traveled to the area near the volcano to set up a new seismic observation post. The camera installed at the station has been aimed directly toward Mutnovsky Volcano.

The live feed has been added to the "Volcano Webcams" section on the website of the Kamchatka branch of the FRC EGS RAS. The publicly available image refreshes every 30 minutes.

The branch's cameras operate at both permanent and autonomous observation sites. Specialists continuously record video footage, and the most notable natural events are archived for future reference.

The service allows users not only to track volcanic activity but also to assess visibility and weather conditions in the surrounding areas.
