In the capital of the Kamchatka Territory, historical monuments are being restored

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, restoration of the monuments included in the number of cultural heritage sites will continue. Works are conducted within the framework of accomplishment of the historical part of the regional capital.

According to the city administration, an auction for the development of another design and estimate documentation has already taken place. Restoration is subject to the monuments of Vitus Bering on Sovetskaya Street; “Glory” on the Nikolskaya Hill and “Tank T-34” on Komsomolskaya Square. After the historical and cultural expertise, specialists from St. Petersburg will start to work.

Recall that in 2017 in the historic center of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky were restored monuments of Jean-Francois Laperuz, heroes of the 3rd battery of Lieutenant Maksutov and “Chapel”.
