This year, in addition to the main Christmas tree, an updated New Year’s fair will be placed in the area near the stela “City of Military Glory”. For residents and visitors of the city, 12 insulated houses will open their doors, three of which will be used as gazebos for heating, the remaining 9 will be shopping pavilions and a food court. Everyone can buy souvenirs, New Year’s toys, decorations, gifts, handicrafts, holiday treats and other related products at competitive prices.
It is worth noting that after the end of the New Year and Christmas celebrations, the insulated houses will not be cleaned, according to the contract they will remain on the main square of the city until 2021.
Also new will be the ice rink. An artificial coating will be used for its manufacture, which will allow the ice to remain level and safe for a long time for riding.
“The skating rink will be small, designed specifically for children. In the future, if it will be popular, the organizer plans to expand, ”said Dmitry Samakhov, head of the trade development department of the Economics Department.
Among the acquisitions of this year are the numbers “2020”, light arches and consoles, a garland for the main New Year tree. In addition, there will be a large hill in the form of a snow volcano. In this case, the slopes and climbs will be made of wood. It will be located closer to the water. Another slide will be wooden with reinforcement.
The opening of the Snow Town and the New Year’s fair is scheduled for December 14. Also, by this time, decorations will appear on the poles of outdoor lighting lines along the main highways of the regional capital.
